The Town of East Gwillimbury has been identified as the fastest growing community in Canada. The town is located at the top of highway 404, just a short drive north of Toronto. Noted for its lush green space, available commercial lands, and ongoing infrastructure development, the town is an ideal place for families and business to live, work, and play. In spite of its rapid growth, the town will remain 75% "green space" for a long time to come. The chamber is comprised of a wide range of businesses, from home based services to full scale industrial production. Our members gather on a regular basis for morning breakfast meetings, evening networking events, educational seminars, and to work together in shaping a vibrant, healthy business community. Working in conjunction with the Town Council and other chambers, we are committed to the welfare of local businesses and families. After a formal and intensive strategic planning process, the board has developed a clear vision for the future of this chamber. Backed by a number of volunteer committees, the board is moving forward with the development plans. Together with all the members, we are building a better future for our businesses and the community as a whole. Our membership is warm and friendly and our meetings are known for high spirited fun!
