The Sunshine Coast Hospice Society, through their volunteers, provides compassionate, respectful end-of-life and bereavement support for all residents of the Sunshine Coast. Presently our Volunteer Coordinator develops and conducts the 30 hour program which includes training in palliative and bereavement instruction. These programs are supplemented with monthly education meetings as well as workshops held both locally and in the Lower Mainland. Currently funds are raised through donations from individuals, bequests, organizations and events.
