Creative Yarns is a retailer of the finest quality yarns, needles, books, patterns, and accessories located at 269 Ellesmere Rd . (south-west corner of Ellesmere Rd. and Warden Ave.) in Scarborough, Ontario. The store is the fulfillment of the life-long ambition of knitted fashion designer Nina Klecki to create a space that would enable her to share her passion of yarns, design techniques, creative instincts and offer inspiration to fellow yarn crafters. Creative Yarns was designed as an open spaced retail store that offers customers a comfortable and cozy atmosphere to peruse our wonderful yarns, notions, patterns, books and accessories. The store includes a seating area complete with a fire-place and comfy sofas to sit and knit or crochet and socially meet, chat and exchange ideas with fellow crafters. We also have a great selection of patterns and books in our library with table and chairs to sit and plan your next project. Creative Yarns hosts weekly “Sit N’ Knit” nights on Thursday evenings. We also feature a dedicated classroom for classes of six to twenty students. Our classroom is also available for knitting parties, workshops and as a resource for instructors that require a space for their own students. Creative Yarns has an in-store booth featuring the finished designs of Nina Klecki . Nina’s unique and distinct garments are available for purchase along with some of her written patterns. These truly wonderful pieces have been an inspiration to many of our customers. Creative Yarns is a different kind of yarn store dedicated to customer satisfaction. Hope to see you soon!
