After learning the secret art of making the tastiest pastries possible from the biggest name in Middle Eastern baking, Mounzer brought that knowledge with him to establish Toronto’s pre-eminent Middle Eastern pastry shop in 1997. Only top quality ingredients find their way into Pâtisserie Royale sweet. Using the same tried and true recipes handed down through the generations; each delicate pastry is assembled by hand and is made with real clarified butter, Canadian flour, Californian nuts and Persian pistachios.
