Requirements: Pet Pleasure Resort requires that your pet is currently up to date with vaccinations. Bordetella-canine cough vaccine is strongly recommended.

Spruce Haven Origins: Spruce Haven was established in the 1970's, by Helen Marshall, whose love for dogs and cats, led to a facility, (originally named Spruce Haven Kennels), for the boarding of pets. A lifelong dream of Helen was also to have a place where she could provide loving care for injured and abandoned animals such as dogs, cats, horses, and many others. As injured animals and birds began arriving from owners and organizations such as the humane society, barns and other structures were built. This led to the arrival of assorted domestic animals such as horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, etc. In 1988, Spruce Haven began receiving injured and abandoned baby wildlife and exotic animals and other non-native species. We were known as Spruce Haven Zoo. Facilities were constructed to provide for the care of these animals.
