The Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre (SPC) is a playwright-run organization with a mandate to serve the development of both Saskatchewan plays and playwrights. Goals To foster and develop Saskatchewan plays in a risk friendly environment; to support our members in their development as playwrights; to promote the Saskatchewan playwriting community in its relationships with theatre producers; to collaborate with other organizations; to promote the Saskatchewan playwriting community to funding agencies, the public, and potential donors; to ensure effective communication with and amongst Saskatchewan playwrights; to ensure the most effective use of SPC resources in order to fulfil the SPC mandate.
