The Diefenbaker Canada Centre (DCC) is a dynamic cultural, educational, and historical institution. Located on the stately University of Saskatchewan campus, the DCC is the only combined Prime Ministerial archives, museum and research centre in Canada. Existing to celebrate Canadian history, the museum preserves and interprets core collections representing the life and times of John G. Diefenbaker, presents national and international cultural exhibitions, and develops educational and public programs in keeping with the high academic standards of the University of Saskatchewan. Our particular themes are citizenship, leadership, and Canada’s role in the international community.

Wanuskewin Heritage Park offers beautiful summer beaches, hikes, and opportunities to learn about First Nations history and culture. Some visitors found the entry fee expensive, but appreciated the informative tours and presentations. The property is easy to find with signposts on the highway, and the trails are decent for hiking. Families with children found the playground unique and educational. Visitors praised the knowledgeable tour guides and the historical significance of the site.
