L' Association chasse et pêche Petit-Saguenay Saint-Siméon est un organisme à but non lucratif dirigé par un conseil d'administration. Elle administre la zone d'exploitation contrôlée ZEC Buteux Bas-Saguenay. Ce territoire couvre 25 900 hectares, il est parsemé de 122 lacs pour la pêche et d'environ 95 kilomètres de chemins prioritaires à entretenir. La mission première de l'organisation est d'assurer la gestion et la conservation de la faune, de même que favoriser l'accès au territoire tout en assurant un équilibre entre la demande et l'offre faunique. La ZEC offre principalement, à une clientèle de nature ou d'aventure et dans un contexte règlementaire, des activités de pêche, chasse, camping, canot-camping et kayak.
