Bretzel & Compagnie is the latest venture by the family team of Andreas and Bronwyn. They are the duo behind the chic and successful neighbourhood bakery, Dolce Vita Bakery in East End Montreal. The pretzel recipe used by Bretzel & Compagnie is a traditional Bavarian recipe, generations old, perfected by Andreas’ mother in Germany, and brought with her to Canada when she immigrated in the early 60’s. In fact, while growing up, Andreas snacked on pretzels and mustard while the other kids snacked on chips and popcorn. Little did he know that these delicious Bavarian treats would play such an important role in his future.
