Sport is at the heart of Sportive Plus. The two founders André Claude and Ginette Leduc turned their love of sports in technical and comfortable clothing for different kind of sports. These two former physical education teachers at the Cégep André Laurendau chose to engage in apparel design to address the lack of technical clothing problem in sports at a reasonable price for their students. After suffering several refusals from manufacturers, Ginette decided to retire from teaching to start designing clothes at home. The following year, Andre followed her in this great adventure. The two discovered their profession by practice but especially with their knowledge of sports. In 1979, they created Quebec anoraks.
