History Richmond Christian Fellowship (RCF) was birthed as a church on June 1, 1980. The first Pastor was Bob McGee, followed by Alan Caple. On June 1, 2012, RCF celebrated 32 years serving Richmond. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring the Gospel Message to you! Initially RCF was a non-denominational church, but after a few years it joined the Foursquare Church of Canada — which we remain a part of until today. Our history is diverse; our journey complex at times. Yet God has been gracious and we are still going strong, still abiding by God’s word and still loving each person that walks through our doors. RCF has always been known as a loving place to be and that is always what we strive to be. No matter where old RCFer’s are, whenever we meet, the bond is as strong as ever. It is amazing to feel that love for each other, even if we haven’t seen each other for many years. Leadership Structure Unit Supervisor: Pastor Mike Andre Lead Pastor: Pastor Inpam Moses Pastor’s Advisory Committee: Inpam Moses Jon Burke Harvey So Patrick Yu Craig Zibert.

Sometimes, it isn’t easy finding the right words to explain to people what the Richmond Community Foundation is, or what it does. Then we remember: the words are right there in our name. It all starts with Richmond. When our organization was founded, in 1990, our goal was to make our community the best that it could possibly be. Everything we do, we do for Richmond, and that will never change. Specifically, we want to create a stronger, healthier Community, which means supporting initiatives in a broad range of fields: education, sports and fitness, arts and culture, healthcare, the environment - just to name a few. How do we support these initiatives? As a Foundation, we pool and invest donations, then distribute the investment income to local charities. Meanwhile, the initial investments continue to grow, allowing us to distribute new grants year after year. In short, we’re here for today, for tomorrow, for Richmond. OUR MISSION To enable others to enhance the quality of life in Richmond, in all its cultural and ethnic diversity, by the attraction and prudent stewardship of donated capital, distributing the income by way of grants to respond to local needs and interests as a caring, ethical, and independent community foundation. OUR VALUES We are committed to improving the quality of life in Richmond by: Responding ethically to the social, recreational, and cultural needs of the community in a responsible manner. #Recognizing and accommodating the diversity of our community. Maintaining close and sensitive roots in the community. We strive to operate an accountable community-based organization by: Remaining neutral and independent of outside political, social, and economic influences. Performing with integrity. Acting as wise and judicious stewards of funds entrusted to us.
