Originally called "Tenet Learning Centre" we have been training clients since the Fall of 1993 when computer services were in their infancy in Renfrew. The Renfrew Learning Centre opened its doors in June 2001. We have worked with a variety of clients including Renfrew Tape, Beloit, Bonnechere Manor, Timminco, Renfrew Housing, Temple Pembroke, Haley Industries, and The County of Renfrew. The Renfrew Learning Centre offers a wide range of programs for businesses and individuals, with instruction both in a classroom environment and on an individual basis. The Renfrew Learning Centre has a number of initiatives planned including the MOS Program (Microsoft Office Specialist Program), and the IC3 Program (Internet and Computing Core Certification). Also offered is instruction on Computer Basics for all level 1 and level 2 which includes; How Computers Work, Windows, Email, Internet, Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Print Shop. As a Microsoft Authorized Testing Centre we can offer exams for those who want to prove there knowledge with certification (Direct from Microsoft) There is also a way to test your basic computer skills, using the latest Certification "IC3" which will demonstrate an individual's basic computer hardware, software, and Internet knowledge. The computers you will be using are Pentium 4's with 80 GB hard drive space and 1 GB memory. We have instant high-speed access to the Internet. You may use the classroom for extra practice Tuesday and Thursday. Our facility is clean, bright and spacious. There is a kitchenette available for use or there are several restaurants within walking distance. We are close to downtown and Tim Horton’s.
