Our lead instructors have extensive educational and outdoor backgrounds that allow us to cater our programs to your needs. With over 40 years of combined experience, JILL BAXTER and MATT CUCCARO are well respected and practiced outdoor educators. With a Masters of Environmental Education, Jill has worked as an environmental educator in facilities ranging from the Grand Canyon to the Canadian Arctic. Matt has specialized as an outdoor skills instructor, educating for school programs, professional rescue courses, and organizations all over the country. In essence, Bear Creek’s program values experiential education and outdoor leadership experiences as extremely valuable for students and teachers alike.
