The history of the Victoria Club dates back to the 5th of February, 1923, when a group of men seeing the need for an organization to help early residents of the city and surrounding community, formed a benevolent Society which was daily registered. This society was first established in a rented quarters in the Nestman block of 11th Ave. and Ottawa Street, with a membership of approximately 23.
