Sew Sensory was established by Dawne Hammerschmidt, proud mother of 2 beautiful children, Dane and Olivia. Dane has Down Syndrome and Autism which came with a number of sensory issues. Danes attentions span is limited and his frustation level can be very high, especially when learning new skills. His sleep was very restless. Getting him to sleep would often take over an hour. He spent many of his sleeping hours tossing, turning, rolling, sitting up and falling back over, occasionally falling out of bed despite a bed-rail barrier!
