Born and raised in Germany, Sonja relocated to Prince George in 1995, after working in a rehabilitation hospital and private practice. Her local work experience includes working for the Prince George Regional Hospital, with most of her time spent on the surgical and intensive care units. She has also worked in Home and Community Care for Northern Health since 2000. Healing Rivers Physiotherapy, located at the Northern Centre for Integrative Medicine, was started in the spring of 2006, and in her part-time clinic Sonja sees mainly patients with lymphedema, cancer, or chronic pain conditions.
