This museum, Bala's Memorial Museum With Memories Of Lucy Maud Montgomery, is a must-visit for fans of L.M. Montgomery and Anne of Green Gables. The building, where Montgomery spent his summer leisure time, has been turned into a memorial museum. The curators are friendly and knowledgeable. The museum offers a nice view of Muskoka and is a good day trip destination, with nearby Gravenhurst offering steamboat tours and breweries. The staff is generally friendly and welcoming.
