Our main goal is to help adult community members improve on the skills they already have and/or learn new skills. We do so by offering classes or working one-on-one with a learning coach, in a non-threatening, inclusive, and flexible learning environment, most often in literacy, numeracy, English language learning, or computers. We also offer continuing education programs through stewardship with Red Deer Polytechnic and Olds College. We host a variety of workshops and information sessions throughout the year. Our partnership with Campus Alberta Central has and continues to bring successful post-secondary certificate and diploma programs to our Ponoka Learning Centre.
