The property was purchased from the McCoshen Family in 1998 which has since been transformed into quite a challenging course for all golfers, from beginners to advanced. The course is situated above the low-lying valleys of endless green fields, at the foothills of the Gatineau escarpment. The natural beauty of the landscape has been known to create awe-inspired reactions from first time visitors. Bright red evening sunsets can be seen throughout the summer. Mickey Creek has been created as a venue for golfers of all ages and ability for the enjoyment of the sport. Everyone is welcome; Mickey Creek is a public course and rest assured you will be greeted with a smile every time you visit. There is a full-menu licensed restaurant. Large portions, reasonably priced, deliciously prepared meals to give you the boost you need for that early morning round or to cap off a perfect day on the course. 
Mickey Creek Golf Club is highly praised for its delicious food with generous portions and friendly staff. The golf course is beautiful and quiet. Some have particularly mentioned the excellent pizza, grill cheeses, and breakfast buffets. Prices are reasonable and the new owners have received positive feedback for their improvements.
