TOM CURRAN was raised in Ottawa and attended Laurentian High School. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario (history and economics) and his law degree at the University of Windsor. Tom was founding partner of Quo Facta Legal Services, a group of shopping-centre law offices that broke new ground in making legal services available to the general public. In addition to the use of a trade name, the office provided ease of access, extended hours of operation and published price lists for routine transactions. Although lawyers and the Law Society of Upper Canada were offended by these innovations, they have all become part of the legal landscape today.
