The Garden of Light opened its doors in 1999 and on November 1, 2008 and is located at 1099 Bank Street near Sunnyside in Old Ottawa South. The Garden of Light is honoured to carry spiritual books, CDs and Jharna-Kala Fountain Art prints by artist, author, musician, poet, and athlete, Sri Chinmoy. To mention a few unique gifts, The Garden of Light carries Fair Trade incense, Pheylonian 100% beeswax candles, Recumbent chairs, Balance ball chairs, hand hammered and machine made Tibetan singing bowls, tingshas, singing bells and hand tuned chimes. We carry Nepalese meditation cushions and locally made buckwheat cushions, Japa Mala beads (crystal, wood, stone), Karma chairs, beautiful warm Pashmina scarves, yoga jewelry as well as traditional/contemporary jewelry made from the local Artisans in Nepal.
