Through our Seeds of Survival program, USC Canada’s primary goal is to build food and livelihood security in small-holder farming communities within the global South. Specifically, our core programs are located in countries where our partners and offices support farming communities in some of the most remote regions and on some of the harshest of landscapes, where people have little access to external resources. By working in three different ecosystems – mountain systems, arid or semi-arid systems, and semi-humid systems – USC and its partners are amassing a solid base of knowledge that can be shared amongst and between the farmers, scientists and practitioners involved in this work, as well as a broad group of actors outside our immediate circle.

We, as survivors and consumers of the mental health system, engage in mutual support, empowerment, and information sharing. We, affirming the dignity and worth of the individual, advocate for alternatives and improvements to the established health care system, services and issues which affect our well-being. Approved by OPSA (PSO) membership at the general meeting held on October 13, 1993. The Bronson Centre is a popular live music venue in Ottawa, known for its amazing people, exciting show lineups, and cozy, intimate atmosphere. Customers praise the excellent service, comfortable seats, and fast, friendly bar service. The sound quality is on par with larger venues, making it a great spot for both small and larger concerts. Parking can be a challenge, but customers appreciate the security and feeling of safety. Some shows may be pricey but are worth the experience.

We are a Community Ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa. We provide services and support for homeless or those at risk of homelessness. Open five days a week, our Day Program provides much-needed community services.
