Causeway Foundation was established in 1998 and fundraises to support Causeway Work Centre’s programs and services and maintain and improve the building at 22 O’Meara St, Ottawa. In 2012, Causeway Foundation was accepted into the Imagine Canada Ethical Code Program. Causeway’s compliance with the Ethical Code standards tells donors that we values your contribution and will steward your donations to ensure they have the greatest impact possible. The Foundation is managed by a nine-member Board of Directors and employs one full-time staff. Causeway Work Centre's Krackers Katering received praise for delivering tasty, fresh food with excellent service. Variety of offerings included sandwiches, salads, and desserts, which were described as amazing, amazingly tasty, and delicious. Staff were friendly, helpful, and beyond excellent. Affordable and convenient service with consistent reliability. Food quality was excellent and service was commended for helping in the success of events.

Shepherds of Good Hope is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to serving the poor and the homeless in Ottawa. We were founded in the basement of a church 31 years ago and today over 1600 people come through our doors every day. Some come for a hot meal from our Soup Kitchen; some come for clothing from our Clothing Program; some for groceries from our Grocery Program and some for a bed in one of our 8 locations across the city. Last year, 700, 000 meals were served from the soup kitchen and over 500 people slept in one of our 8 facilities every night.
