Ottawa West Community Support (OWCS) has been involved in the community since 1968. You can join us in our mission by volunteering your time. We provide assistance to hundreds of seniors in the Ottawa area. Ottawa West Community Support (OWCS), is a non-profit outreach ministry of Christian Churches in the West End of Ottawa, motivated by the love of God, in service to all seniors and disabled adults in our community, regardless of race, colour, or creed.

Shepherds of Good Hope is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to serving the poor and the homeless in Ottawa. We were founded in the basement of a church 31 years ago and today over 1600 people come through our doors every day. Some come for a hot meal from our Soup Kitchen; some come for clothing from our Clothing Program; some for groceries from our Grocery Program and some for a bed in one of our 8 locations across the city. Last year, 700, 000 meals were served from the soup kitchen and over 500 people slept in one of our 8 facilities every night.

Since 1993, the Canadian Resource Centre for Victims of Crime (CRCVC) has been a leader in advocacy for victims and survivors of serious crime in Canada.
