We are a beautiful and well kept RV Resort, located in the heart of the Kawarthas. We are located on the picturesque Otonabee River, which is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway. We are about 7km north of Rice Lake, 12km from the city of Peterborough and approximately 1.5 hrs from Toronto at Highway 400 (Pearson Int’l Airport). Peterborough is a wonderful city with many amenities which you can find listed on our Amenities page. Upon arriving at Kawartha Trails Resort, you will meet the current owners, Richard and Judy Schwan, who purchased the park in 2005. While staying with us, you can simply relax on your site, take a stroll around the park, enjoy a refreshing swim, warm-up in the hot tub, or take advantage of any of the Amenities . We welcome guests with van conversions, truck campers, tent trailers, travel trailers, motor homes, 5th wheels and even 40' buses. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate tenting.
