Velthuis Farms Ltd. was established in 1959 with the purchase of the current farm consisting of 160 acres. Land base currently consists of 1200 acres owned plus additional rented which allows us to supply all our herd feed plus provide for a significant amount of cash crop sales.

Established nearly a century ago in 1923, four generations of Acres' have operated this family farm. From 1964 until 2006, Maple Meadow Farms was owned and operated by Dwayne and Laura Acres. In 2007, daughter Colleen Acres and her husband Dwayne Bazinet purchased the farm. Dwayne A. and Laura continue to participate running and managing the day to day operation. Currently we have a 450 ewe sheep flock, a small beef herd, and a cash crop operation of corn and soybeans.
