Crazy Goat Coffee want's to offer you the freshest coffee at the most reasonable price by roasting only when the coffee is needed. We rarely have any stock of roasted bean, and if we do, it's likely only a few days old. We know that coffee's taste and aroma deteriorate quickly, so any coffee that is older than two weeks goes to the compost pile. Our coffees come from all over the world. When we can source organic beans, we do. When we can source fair trade beans, we do. When we can source, fair trade, organic, rain forest certified, bird friendly, shade grown coffee, we're ecstatic. But it doesn't always happen. It all depends on what we can get locally in Canada. But we'll always let you know what you're getting right on the label.
