Oakville Little League is the largest youth baseball organization in Oakville. In 2013, there were over 1, 050 young people playing in 9 age divisions, on over 100 teams, including 12 All-Star teams. The League has been providing the youth of Oakville with opportunities to develop citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being through baseball, since 1992. Oakville Little League is recognized as having the best, highest caliber, fair-play and fun house league baseball programs in Oakville. The Oakville Little League philosophy is one of house league first. Every All-Star player must also play in the house leagues in order to qualify for the All-Star team. Our experience has been that having the best players participate in house league helps the average player improve faster as they have players they can emulate. For the better players, participation in house league provides leadership opportunities they may not otherwise experience.

In the summer of 1999 Chris, Frank and Sharon formed an “Allstar” team from athletes at T.A. Blakelock and M.M. Robinson. They travelled with them to Sandusky, Ohio where they competed in the Roller Coast Classic on Labour Day weekend. The team (The BurlOak WildCats) won that competition and were invited to AmeriCheer Nationals in Florida the following March. The team of 18 came in 3rd. Following such an awesome experience, Chris, Frank and Sharon decided to do it again the following season. The second year we took 28 athletes to Florida and competed at PCA Nationals with a Senior and a Junior team. We won both divisions. At that point we decided we would continue the teams year round CheerForce Inc receives high praise from customers for its coaching staff, specifically Kristina and Elyse, who are described as understanding, kind, and focused on making gymnastics fun for children. The facility is seen as a second home for many members, where they have made great friends and made significant progress. Some customers have suggested the need for a larger facility to accommodate the growing membership.
