Ferguson Funeral Home Ltd, O'Leary was founded in 1958 by Douglas & Georgina Ferguson after they purchased the O'Leary Funeral Home from Claude Jelly. Doug operated out of this existing property until 1963. He then built a new funeral home with the family residence located above this facility. In 1985 Dougs’ son David joined the family business with his father after the sudden death of his brother Dean who had been working with Doug. After years serving the community of O'Leary and surrounding areas, Doug and David expanded to the Tyne Valley area building a new facility in 1988. This funeral home continues to serve the families of Tyne Valley and surrounding areas.
