Ankon was originally founded in South Africa by Anthony Craxton in 1980 as a building construction company. The company grew quickly from its modest beginnings expanding with the addition of a general engineering workshop then again with a luxury custom yacht building division. The company prospered for eleven years in South Africa before it was decided to close the company when Anthony left for Canada. Building on the experience, leadership, values and commitment to excellence of our original South African company, Ankon Consultants Inc was opened in Vancouver, BC, Canada in 2008. The present focus of this company is on the quantity surveying and costing aspects of building construction; however certain services in the field of project management are also undertaken.
