Fairways Cottages is a family owned and operated chalet resort business specializing in vacation customized packages to suit your individual needs. Whether visiting with us for a romantic get-away, a family reunion, cycling & hiking, a golf vacation, a corporate meeting or retreat, theatre and dining or for some much needed rest and relaxation at our world famous beaches; we guarantee you a superior experience. Fairways offers an on-site laundry facility, a heated in-ground swimming pool and a heated pre-schoolers wading pool, a sand volleyball court, a horseshoe pit, 4 children play areas, 1 outdoor fire pit for every three cottages, movies, and high speed wireless Internet in all the units & at the poolside gazebo. During July & August we offer on-site children’s Arts & Crafts Monday to Friday from 9:15 a. - 10:15 a. Located a short two minute walk from Fairways Cottages is the destination’s only bike rental. Fairways Cottages chalets feature a phone, remote control cable colour TV & DVD player, pullout bed in the living room, full kitchen and four-piece bathroom, all your bed linens, fresh bath towels delivered daily, pots, pans, plates, glasses, and all cooking utensils, deck with table & chairs and a propane B-B-Q. For those wanting to prepare fresh Island seafood purchased at one of our local fish markets, we also offer pre-reserved outdoor cookers at no extra charge. Hi and Welcome! We are David and Pauline Pineau and we live in the picturesque fishing village of North Rustico, Prince Edward Island, Canada. We, along with our four children, Sheldon, Dwayne, Aaron and Shannon have been the owners of this small family cottage operation since 1996. The cottages are located on Route 6, approximately one kilometre outside the village of North Rustico and five kilometres from the world famous Cavendish Beach and the home of Anne of Green Gables. The property consists of nine cottages, some single self-contained buildings, others in duplex buildings. The units are set back from the highway approximately 1200 - 1500 feet along a curved driveway which does not pass through the main playground area and as such, makes the grounds very safe for children. At night it is very quiet, which allows a great nights sleep. Everyone feels refreshed and ready to enjoy all that the island has to offer. Rustico Acres Cottages is a member in good standing of the Cavendish Tourist Association. It is inspected and rated as aCanada Select Cottage accommodation by Quality Tourism Services and accordingly licensed by Tourism PEI This designation means that you can be assured that our property has met rigorous cleanliness and maintenance standards. The Canada Select rating system is your assurance of quality at more than 3500 participating accommodations across Canada. means moderate reasonably priced accommodations with additional facilities and some amenities.
