In 1996 Stephen Dodd began operations in a 2500 sq ft shop as an oilfield and miscellaneous steel fabricator. With rising needs in the industry for quality control and certification in 1998 Steelhead Fabrication Corp became CWB certified. With growing demands for quality built products Steelhead Fabrication Corp expanded into a new 6000 sq ft facility in 2000 then expanded again in 2002 to 10, 000 sq ft. With this expansion Steelhead Fabrication Corp was also able to provide engineering, design, drafting, as well as complete line of new Lincoln welding equipment. This new equipment and expansion increased production capacity by double overnight. We could meet tight deadlines and deliver quality fabricated steel products with consistency and reliability. In 2007 Steelhead Fabrication Corp relocated to its new facility, a new 13, 000 sqft facility, investing more than 2.5 million dollars in equipment and increasing its shop lift height to 27’ and crane capacity to two 20 ton overhead canes with two 10 ton hoists on each bridge for a total capacity of 40 tons. Our production bay has a 21’-6” hook height and two 10 ton bridges with two 5 ton hoists on each bridge for a capacity of 20 tons, Using this new equipment gave us a definite advantage over our competitors as we are able to rotate large fabricated structures to reduce fabrication time and cost savings that can be passed on to our customers. Safety, quality, competitive pricing and expedited deliveries has become our reputation with growing list of customers.
