Platinex Inc. has recently acquired an option to purchase the Nabish Lake Ni-Cu-PGE prospect which overlies most of the Nabish Lake layered Intrusion. Widespread mineralization is associated with the intrusion with values up to 3.5% Ni, 6.5% Cu and anomalous levels of PGE. In addition a recent VTEM survey over the intrusion identified several drill-ready, untested EM anomalies believed to be within a feeder dike. Platinex has prioritized investigating these anomalies. In addition the Company’s long term priority is to further explore its highly prospective gold property in Ontario’s emerging Shining Tree gold camp. Platinex has been progressing a drill and surface program at Shining Tree on available financing. A 20, 000m drilling program has been permitted. Two key targets are to expand the known size of the Herrick gold deposit and to locate and define the sources of the exceptionally anomalous glacial gold train on the property.
