Our wedding and event pictures are very candid and our work is best characterized by the sense of narrative that's present in our documentary-style photography. Ben Welland is a full-time professional photographer, and is the owner of byfield-pitman photography. Ben first became interested in photography in 1994 at the age of fourteen when he built a black and white darkroom in his basement. He photographed his first wedding in 1997, and he studied photography for two years at Algonquin College starting in 1998 and earning his diploma in 2000.
