Generally, an initial consultation includes a total health history using both an interview and a health history form to gather information regarding diet, elimination, exercise, lifestyle, medications, etc. Diagnosis techniques include appraisal of the complexion, as well as tongue and pulse diagnosis. Length of treatment can range from 1 hour to 1½ hours.
