We also have a staff of some terrific women at Huckleberry Baby Shop. Currently, Jen, Amy, Emily, and Laurie make up our staff roster. I started out cloth diapering my first child nine years ago, using flat cotton diapers which I folded and fastened with pins then covered with “rubber pants.” Following the birth of our third child in October of 2006, we discovered a whole new world of cloth diapering. The choices are endless! Because of the myriad of options available, there is usually a cloth diapering system to fit most family’s budget and lifestyle. The huge variety can be overwhelming to new parents, though. Huckleberry Baby Shop is my way of trying to bring a large range of cloth diapering products closer to home for parents in the Nanaimo area. When I first opened, I offered Nanaimo’s first in home consultations for parents looking to touch and feel cloth diapering products before they make a purchase as well as a novel cloth diapering trial program. Parents get a chance to us Huckleberry Baby Shop is a local favorite with top-notch customer service and unique product selection. Some customers highlighted the store's ability to help with last-minute shopping needs, while others praised the quality of maternity clothes and overall shopping experience.
