We pride ourselves in being a rural, community minded school in Mt. Pleasant. We have about 210 students, from Junior Kindergarten to grade 8, 15 staff members, a solid School Council and lots of volunteers and community support. We have been identified as an Eco-Green School with GOLD designation…we are working towards our Platinum designation. We are especially interested in technology and have Smartboards and computers in every classroom. We have a newly developed Learning Commons as well as a maker space where our students are challenged to pursue inquiry projects. Our students are encouraged to take on leadership roles and seek ways to make our school a better place. As a community, we will provide diverse learning and leadership opportunities to engage, support and inspire self-motivated learners that respect a balance between academic achievement and personal/social success.
