Tempo Construction was formed in 1985 by Gerald Scaplen and Terry Scaplen. Gerald Scaplen had spent many years previous to the formation of Tempo Construction building various commercial, institutional and industrial building thoughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The main advantage to this process is the speed of project delivery and cost Tempo Construction uses various partners such as Architects and Engineers to design and monitor the building construction to ensure a successful project. In 2001 Gerald Scaplen semi-retired and Terry Scaplen became President of the company.
