Anita began her dance training at the age of 6 with the Doris Sitter School of Dance in Moose Jaw. She studied ballet, tap and jazz and completed all the exams in each discipline. To further her ballet training, she studied with Ellen Andrews in Vancouver B.C. With the guidance of Doris Sitter, Anita obtained her Teaching Certificate with the C.D.T.A. for tap. She then moved to Oakville, Ontario, where she obtained her Ballet Teaching Certificate with the R.A.D. Anita has been teaching at the Doris Sitter School of Dance for twenty years. She has also adjudicated many competitions in Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan Doris Sitter School of Dance is a premier dancing school with exceptional teachers who are highly regarded in the dance community. The nurturing and caring environment treats students like family. With strong dance backgrounds and extensive credentials, instructors emphasize proper technique and offer classes in various dance disciplines. Students have achieved numerous awards and scholarships, creating a supportive and successful dance community.
