Before the center, the room was formerly a mortuary. The youth center provides a valuable service by breaking the isolation of young people and offering a space for them to socialize. The center has a rich history, with activities previously taking place in alley garages, sheds, and church basements. In 1981, the decision was made to destroy these makeshift youth centers, leading to a change in era. Now, the MAISON DES JEUNES QUINKA-Buzz Inc is a cherished place for young people in Montréal's Centre-Sud.
