The CPA Foundation was created on August 31, 2012 as a result of the merger of the Foundation of Quebec CAs and the CMA Foundation. This merger was the logical result of the unification of the accounting profession, which was became official on May 16, 2012. Proud of the progress and efforts made to set up the Foundation, the Board of Directors is working on a new recognition program, organizing fundraising activities and developing a communication plan to promote the CPA Foundation with all of the Order's members.
