The chief instructor at Anshin Karate is Sensei Steve Trombley who is dedicated to carefully passing the knowledge of both karate and kobudo to his students. Matsubayashi Shorin-ryu karate is an Okinawan martial art with a long history and tradition. Founded by Grand Master Shoshin Nagamine, the federation is currently headed by his son, Master Takayoshi Nagamine. Sensei Steve Trombley is an integral part of the tradition of Matsubayashi-Ryu style Karate. He has been instrumental in hosting many seminars in Canada, hosting Master Takayoski Nagamine as well as teaching extensively in the Homebu Dojo in Japan. He has done clinics around the world including in the United States, Canada, Germany and Ireland.
