Day + Borg LLP Divorce Court Changes In 2010, Ontario Chief Justice Warren recently recommended "dramatic" changes to the family law justice system that would deny litigants access to the courts if they didn't go through mediation or arbitration first. As the practice has grown, the firm has developed a strong reputation for effective advocacy and good counsel. Lawyers and staff have joined the firm and this has enhanced our ability to meet the ongoing needs of our clientele and has provided us with a basis to develop our corporate specialties. We have over the years established a proven and tested record for effectively assisting our clients through difficult and often complex issues and matters. The Growing Years The practice was established in 1982 and we have always been in the Village of Streetsville because we like the “small town” feel proximate to the bustling City of Toronto. The first office was at 57 Queen Street South in Streetsville. We have tried hard to keep the practice general with a focus on Business, Family Law, Real Estate, and Wills and Estates. Our clients’ needs have in large measure driven the direction of our firm. By investing long hours and hard work, our law firm's reputation steadily progressed as the years passed. As our reputation grew, so did our client base and our need for more support staff which led to the need for more space and we relocated the practice to the south end of Streetsville at 265 Queen Street South in 1989. Where We're At Now Growth again dictated a need for a move, and in 1994, we relocated our office to 93 Queen Street South, Streetsville and our support staff number has grown to 12 persons.
