We have a large inventory of parts and equipment from some of the leading Farm Automation companies in the world. OUR HISTORY In 1981 Garry & Darlene Gilroy purchased an existing barn equipment business from Alex Peters and renamed it Melbourne Farm Automation Ltd. Product expansion in 1983 saw the addition of a grain bin line as the need for on-farm drying storage was becoming more prevalent every year. In 1984 Melbourne Farm Automation relocated to a bigger property on the edge of town. This continued growth called for more trucks, tools and staff. In 1995 we hired an electrician, which started the ball rolling for the complete system ‘Wired’. Now, the builder builds the barn and we ‘complete’ it. In the fall of 1997, a new shop was built making room for the now 44 employees and 30 trucks.
