Bloomington Farm is a small breeding operation with a goal to produce attractive horses able to perform at the highest level in sport. Because we believe in their extremely strict breeding selection program, all our broodmares are registered with the KWPN or their American counterpart the KWPN-NA, the Royal Dutch Sport Horse better known as the Dutch Warmblood. We take great pride in the selection of the stallion which represents the best bloodline available. Our broodmares include one of the best jumper broodmare imported from Holland. Our sires's mare include Calvados, Animo, Mr. Blue, Nabab de rêve from the mareline of the year in Holland, Indoctro and Silverstone. Our business philosophy is stamped from our own value. We believe in integrity, trust and honesty and we treat our clients as we want ourselves to be treated. It is important for us that our clients be totally satisfied and have a good experience. We are conveniently situated 45 minutes from Ottawa, 1hr 30 from Montreal and 30 minutes from the US border. We love our horses and they are part of our family. We provide them special care, they are dewormed every two months, hoof trimmed for the youngster every month and their vaccine and vet check program are meticulously followed. All our horses are carefully monitored by a nutritionist from Brooks with Kentucky Equine Research products to insure the best growth rate. In our 10th year of breeding, we never had a case of OCD. We believe that they should be raised in a herd so our horses live outside all year long with the protection of a huge luminous dome.
