Dr. Indira Geer has been in the practice of optometry since 1998 after receiving her Doctorate in Optometry from the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo. Dr. Geer presently practices primary care optometry and is able to consult on refractive surgery, contact lens fittings and pediatric vision. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. At the Hospital for Sick Children she specialized in Orthoptics with emphasis on binocular vision in children and adults. She subsequently completed a Master of Science in Physiological Optics and has published and co-authored papers on eye movements, relating to fast and slow tracking, and also on the development and testing of binocularity in children.
