Ashleigh McAuley - Owner/Artistic Director Ashleigh McAuley is the Owner and Artistic Director at Showstoppers. She believes "there are no small parts, only small actors"; every role is important to the story no matter how big or small. Ashleigh jumped into Musical Theatre at age 9 and never looked back. She holds a Diploma in Theatre Arts from Capilano University, has been in many community and professional productions as well as directed for various theatre companies over the past 8 years. Some of her credits include Erma in "Anything Goes" - Exit 22 Productions, Narrator in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat" - Centrestage Productions, Director of "Seussical the Musical" - Showstoppers Academy and Director of "Annie" - Warren Performing Arts Academy. Nicole was first introduced to the world of Musical Theatre at the age of 13 and she never had a thought to do anything else. Some of her past performances include Miss Hannigan in "Annie", Horton the Elephant in "Seussical" and Babette in "Beauty and the Beast" as seen in the above photo! She is also experienced behind the scenes - backstage and helping in areas such as prop and set making and as assistant director and assistant choreographer. She has worked with Miss Ashleigh for the past 7 years and couldn't ask for a better mentor, co-worker or friend. Presently she is attending Douglas College in the Associate of Arts Program for Future Teachers with the goal to become an Elementary School Teacher. Ashlyn has been performing for many years and she absolutely loves Musical Theatre. She has played such roles as Muzzy in "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and Belle in "Beauty and the Beast". Not only is Ashlyn wonderful on stage but she has become a much loved assistant teacher over the last few years with our younger classes. She is experienced in putting together sparkling choreography and assisting our younger students as they prepare for their big production!
