Gallery 215 opened for 2014 with a Grand Opening reception on Sunday June 2, 1:00 to 4:00 pm with free refreshments! Our " " include 51 Nova Scotia Artists working in a variety of medium. We have paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolour, mixed media, pastel, photography, pottery, folk art, rug hooking, textiles, sculpture and wood turning. Gallery 215 is a project of the Maitland and District Development Association, who envisioned the space as a beautiful backdrop to showcase Nova Scotia artists. The group restored the building with the concept of offering a community based art gallery, and artists are not juried but accepted as space allows. Gallery 215 works to promote the art offered in our space and also our individual artists. All work in the Gallery is for sale, and visitors wil discover a wide range of sizes and subject matter within our walls. In addition to our original fine art offerings, we have a small selection of matted art prints by a few of our gallery artists and an art card display. 
Gallery 215 is a charming tourist attraction in Maitland, showcasing a diverse collection of local artists and their works. The friendly atmosphere and well-presented artwork draw visitors from near and far.
