Accurate Hearing is an independent, locally owned and operated hearing clinic with two convenient locations in Lower Sackville and Halifax, NS. Accurate Hearing opened its doors on September 1st, 2010, with the goal of helping our community hear better by providing personalized hearing health care in a warm, friendly environment. Accurate Hearing provides a variety of hearing services including: complete hearing tests hearing aid consultations hearing aid fitting and dispensing follow-up care at no charge assistive listening devices hearing protection full hearing services to VAC and WCB clients Meet the Accurate Hearing Team Accurate Hearing is owned and operated by Audiologist Andrew Stewart, Hearing Instrument Specialist Pieter Jeroen (PJ) Dunning and Business Manager Heather Dunning. A ndre w graduated with his Master of Science Degree in Audiology from Dalhousie University in 2006. This followed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick. Andrew is certified by the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, and is an active member of the Canadian Academy of Audiology and Sounds+. Andrew is involved in Amnesty International, likes to read, and make and listen to music. PJ graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology in the Netherlands in 1997. He became a Hearing Instrument Specialist in Canada in 2006, and obtained his Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences in 2008. He is a member of the International Hearing Society. PJ likes to spend time with his family, read and play guitar, as well as record music in his basement. Together our clinicians have over a decade of experience in the hearing health care field and are highly committed to serving you better.
