Anago is a not-for-profit association that has been serving London and surrounding communities for more than 50 years. Coming from the Greek language, the word Anago, literally translated means, “to lead from one place to a better place”. Founded on the belief that each individual has gifts to share, and differing abilities, not disabilities, Anago has worked to establish positive, therapeutic relationships with the people they support. Through this lens, and with the financial support of government, private, and corporate funding sources, Anago provides programs and services to female youth with concurrent mental health diagnosis, male youth in conflict with the law, and individuals with developmental disabilities who may also be medically fragile. In conjunction with running a number of programs and initiatives to serve the community, Anago also operates a number of facilities throughout the region to serve its constituency. These facilities range from a Therapeutic Care Residence to Youth Detention Centres and multiple residential homes as well as Community Participation Support Programs to support people with mental health and/or developmental challenges.
